- I agree that Hillary would be a great Senate Majority Leader and a Republican would be a good choice for Secretary of State....maybe McCain???!!! Just a little comment to stimulate some more thought.

- The Clintons campaigned for Obama because it was the political expedient thing to do (not to mention that excessive campaign debt she needs help to pay off).  Hillary Clinton could be the one democratic leader with political capital that could be a power broker in the Senate.

- How remarkable and again another excellent strategy by the Obama team to select Senator Hillary Clinton to serve at the "will" of the President.  She is the only real nemesis that is within the Democratic lead Senate who could present a challenge to the Obama agenda.

- Cdawg and Greenspan, I agree.  I think an "accounting/auditing" of these cities/states should be the very first thing that should be done prior to any "bail-out".
